Description

The Tarot, the Fool’s Journey

In the Tarot, the World card marks the culmination of the Fool’s journey starting from the zeroth card, the Fool.

Departing with empty hands, fixated on their ideals, the Fool encounters the versatile Magician, encounters the enigmatic High Priestess veiled in secrets, experiences the nurturing embrace of the Empress, and faces the dignified and decisive Emperor. The journey continues.

Meeting the Hermit, reflecting on life, enduring various experiences, the Fool learns that life, like the Wheel of Fortune, has its twists and turns.

At times, contemplating justice and even momentarily hanging upside down to alter their perspective on the world.

Eventually, facing mortality, realizing that succumbing to desires and instincts without confronting death head-on leads to becoming a slave to the Devil. Ultimately, this leads to a collapse akin to the Tower card, where everything built in reality crumbles, leading to an endless fall.

However, like the faint starlight in the night sky becomes hope in our hearts, it suggests the need to slowly move forward. Overcoming fears of reason and instinct, breaking through the shell of the present, is necessary. Then, a bright day akin to the Sun will rise again.

Only the prepared shall face judgment on the day of reckoning and transcend everything, as depicted in the World card, smiling beyond it all.

The completion of everything.

Success

In Tarot, the World card exudes a more positive energy than any other card.

While the Sun card does so as well, the World card signifies the culmination of the Major Arcana, transcending everything, making it unattainable for anyone.

Therefore, if the World card appears in a spread, it can quell any negativity and magnify positive aspects for interpretation.

Everything will fall into place, rewarding efforts made. Progress will smoothly lead to conclusions, earning recognition. Events will consistently align favorably for oneself.

Too perfect.

The World of Tarot cards offer the following advice.

Even though the World card is considered a positive card in Tarot, Tarot isn’t always solely about positive meanings. Similarly, the World card also has its negative aspects.

It can signify a situation where everything is in motion, yet the individual is unable to keep up or transition to the next stage. Furthermore, being enveloped and protected by the zodiac signifies seeking too much comfort and stability, possibly resulting in stagnation and lack of progress.
